UEFA EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
The pinnacle of European football. The Euros competition elicits equal jubilation and heartbreak, representing some of the most iconic moments in the sport—lifted by some of the greatest players to have lived. Named the Henri Delauney trophy, after the first General Secretary of UEFA, Asprey were proudly commissioned to produce the new version of the cup in 2008. Crafted from the finest sterling silver, it took one-hundred-and-seventy hours to create and stands at a bold 60cm in height. A monumental award that matches the monumental nature of the achievement.
HONOURING TENNIS CHAMPIONS
WIMBLEDON CHAMPIONSHIPS
Wimbledon is the oldest and most prestigious of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments. For this quintessential British event, Asprey provided sterling single salvers for runners-up of both the gentleman’s and lady’s singles final, as well as for winners in additional events. Twelve were made each year, featuring a prestigious illustration of the AELTC clubhouse carefully hand-engraved by our artisans, as well as the competition name.
GOLF'S GREATS CONVERGE FOR GLORY
AUGUSTA MASTERS
One of the four major golfing championships, the Masters is among the most desirable victories in the sport. Complimenting their success is the Masters Trophy, which depicts the clubhouse. Crafted by our artisans in sterling silver, it is also one of most intricately designed pieces Asprey has produced. Resting on a pedestal, the silver plinth band is engraved with the winner and runner-up.
CLASH OF GOLFING TITANS
RYDER CUP
Held every two years, the Ryder Cup is one of the most famous tournaments on the golf calendar. Asprey was commissioned to produce a replica of the original Ryder Cup, wholly created in the finest silver gilt, and topped with a detailed figurine of founder Samuel Ryder. With a height of 80 cm, it rests upon an elegant mahogany plinth and took over eighty-hours of craft time to complete.
